Picket Fences! Part 64



Over at Nick and Jennifer's house . . .



When the newlyweds had gone to Nick's place right after their wedding a few days ago..



Nick relaxed on his bed and asked Jennifer to join.



They cuddled.



Nick gave her a romantic kiss.



They made out.


"How do you feel about giving Matthew a little brother or sister?", he asked.



"I'd love to have a baby with you", said Jennifer.



Woo hoo!



"I think I heard a lullabye. Did you?"



"Yes I did and I couldn't be happier", he said.





Nick slid up close behind Jennifer and they slept together all night.



The next morning Jennifer fixed cereal for their breakfast.



"Are you going to call Gwen after we finish breakfast?", he asked.

"Yes, I expect she's ready for Matthew to come home by now", she said.



"Hey Gwen, I'll be over in a few minutes to pick up my son", said Jennifer.

"I'll bring him home. I don't mind", she said.

"Thanks Gwen", she said.


"I miss that little one of yours", said Nick.

"Yeah, he certainly makes things more interesting", she said.



Gwen arrived a few minutes later with Matthew.



"Thank you for watching him Gwen", said Jennifer.

"You're welcome. Jacob enjoyed playing with him. He's been begging his father and I for a little brother or sister", she said.



Then Gwen left to go home.


Nick went into the kitchen and got Matthew a bottle out of the refrigerator.





"I can hardly wait until Matthew's little brother or sister arrives", said Nick.

"Yeah, me too", said Jennifer.





At Kevin and Heather's place . . .



The taxicab took them to their new house. Kevin carried his bride over the threshold.



"Welcome to our new home Mrs. Carlson", said Kevin.

"It was nice of Rhys to give us this house for a wedding gift", she said.

"Yeah, he's great", he said.



Kevin relaxed on the bed and asked Heather to join.



They cuddled.



He gave her a romantic kiss.



They made out.



They did woo hoo!



"You've made me very happy", said Kevin.



"You've made me happy, too", she said.



Then they went to sleep in each other's arms.


Across town at Claudia's house . . .





Rhys and Megan Grace had gone home with her and Hannah since he had Megan Grace for the weekend . . .



Megan Grace and Hannah played with the dollhouse until time for bed.







Then after they put the girls to bed, Claudia and Rhys relaxed on her bed.

"It was a lovely wedding, wasn't it?", asked Claudia.



"Yeah, if you like weddings", said Rhys.



"Rhys, do you think you'll ever get married?", she asked.

"Claudia, I love you more than I've ever loved any woman, but I just don't see any reason for us to get married", he said.



"Maybe you'll feel different after you become an elder", she said, "You know I'm ready if you ever do."



"If I ever do change my mind, you'll be the first to know", said Rhys.



Then he gave her a romantic kiss.



"Can we do woo hoo now?", he asked.



And Claudia said yes.



"Goodnight Rhys. I'll see you in the morning", she said.

"Goodnight Claudia", he said.





The next morning Claudia fixed breakfast for everyone.



That afternoon she went out to the mailbox to get the mail.



When she came back into the house she said "We got a letter from Noah."

"Hurry up and open it, so we can see what he says", said Rhys.

Claudia opened the letter and began to read . . .

"Dear Mom and Dad,

I hope you're both well and happy. Thanks for sending me the pictures of my two beautiful little sisters. I can hardly wait to see them in person. I was certainly surprised to hear that Ryan married Carrie Edwards. I never thought he'd get married. I can't imagine him having three sons already. Wow!

I was glad to hear that Kevin and Heather got married. I wish them much happiness. I'll be getting out of the Navy next week. I can hardly wait to see everybody.

"I reckon I better be getting Megan Grace on home", he said, "I'll call you tomorrow."





Then Rhys left to take Megan Grace home.





They soon arrived at Regan's Studio . . .



"Hey sweetie", said Regan, giving Megan Grace a hug.



"Did you have a good time?", she asked.



Then she proceeded to tell her mother about the wedding and playing with Hannah at Claudia's house.




Megan Grace asked Rhys to play chess.



"Dad, when are you going to come back?", asked Megan Grace.

"I'll come to pick you up next Saturday for Hannah's birthday party. Your brother Noah should be home by then, too", he said.

"I don't remember him", she said.

"Yeah, I know. You were just a baby, but he remembers you", said Rhys.



Megan Grace snuggled with Rhys.



Then when it was time for her to go to bed, she told him goodbye . . .




And crawled into bed.



Rhys tucked her in . . .



He entered the livingroom and saw Regan crying.



He went over to her and asked "What's wrong? Why the tears?"

"I'm so lonely when Megan Grace goes to visit you. I feel left out of everything y'all do", she said.



"I'm sorry you feel that way. I don't like to see you unhappy", he said.


"I'll think of something you and me can do with Megan Grace. I promise", he said.

"Thank you", she said.



She grabbed him and gave him a squeeze . . .

"Rhys, please spend the night. It's been so long since we've been together", she said.



"I don't love you Regan. It wouldn't be fair to take advantage of your feelings for me", said Rhys.

"It doesn't matter. I want you anyway", she said.



Then she jumped into his arms . . .



And Rhys carried her into the bedroom.



Regan relaxed on her bed and asked him to join.



She gave him a romantic kiss.



They madeout.



"Will you do woo hoo with me?", she asked.



And Rhys said YES!



"Thank you Rhys."





He turned over and she scooted up close behind him, as he fell asleep.
