| Do you have some life stage milestones in your game? If so, please provide examples of life stage milestones.
Examples: - birthdays - Greek toga parties - weddings - funerals - graduation ceremonies/parties - simple get-togethers - family reunions - marriage anniversaries (e.g. "Have Golden Anniversary" want) - private school admissions - club admissions - secret society admissions
Real-life examples that may or may not be inputted into the game: - baptisms for infants - first holy communions for children - confirmation for teenagers - weddings for adults - funerals for dead Sims

it would depend n the family. if it is a birthday party, i decorate the house in celebration colors, have cake with all their family. if it is a graduation party, i invite close family friends, plus the great friends in the college, and the sim who is gradating parents. With Weddings, they are always outdoors and extremely big! | |

| Oh, Ok. I have problems having parties and all. Everyone wants to run through the house and be where they aren't supposed to be. Going to bed, taking showers. Just all over the place. Daisy have 'Beautiful' parties, weddings and funerals. It amazes me how she captures every detail in her stories. Are yours like that, Sun? | |

Daisy have 'Beautiful' parties, weddings and funerals. It amazes me how she captures every detail in her stories. Are yours like that, Sun? You could cheat a little bit and type [maxmotives] into the cheat code box. Sims will usually be given "Watch Wedding" command, and you may cancel whatever they are doing to pay attention to the wedding. However, if a Sim is preparing lobster thermidor in the kitchen, then you better make sure that Sim watches the stove, or risk burning the entire kitchen down! So, for that Sim alone, you may cancel the "Watch Wedding" command. As a matter of fact, a wedding will only start when everybody who has the command is actually paying attention. If you cancel all the commands for other Sims on the lot, then you may instantly prompt the wedding to start. |

- Thanks for the info, Anonymity! I wasn't aware I needed to command them to watch the wedding, etc. I'm not much of a player. I build and create more than I play. I'll need to start playing more, and enjoying the various things that go on.
I guess my previous post was a bit misleading, but you don't really directly command the Sims to watch the wedding. A "Watch wedding" command will pop up automatically. It's up to you whether or not you want to make your Sim watch the wedding or keep doing what they are doing. If left alone, Sims have a high tendency to stop whatever they are doing and watch the wedding, but even that depends on the circumstances. Of course, if you have lawn chairs in the background and a wedding arch there as well, then Sims will go sit in the lawn chairs as they watch the wedding; otherwise, they will stand up and watch the wedding take place. You may also try making a wedding indoors instead of outdoors, if it's too dark outside and you want some extra lighting for your snapshots. |

| Oh, Okay! I may have overlooked the message when it prompted. I may have been looking at everyone running around and trying Lock Doors so they can stay in one place. Once I really get into playing the game, I'll notice such things. I had the chairs, tables where they could eat and everything, but my sims was still all over the place. Dancing to the music, going to the br. I just finally just had them stick the ring on and get married. | |

Then do whatever you want; have your sims mingle, dance, etc. But the best thing I've found for all the parties is a hotub - get some guests in there, have your sim get out and let another guest get in and you're guaranteed to have a great party!
The headmaster seems to love the hot tub too, but you may not want him in there too long. He may stay there and spoil the rest of the night! You might as well put the hot tub off limits to the headmaster, and when you have gained enough points for the Headmaster Scenario, spend the rest of the night with the headmaster in the hot tub and chill. |
