It's Hot!

Another Hot, Hot Day! It was 107 yesterday and today supposed to get to 109. I don't do heat well at all. So thankful we had our Heat/AC replaced. It would have gone out with this heat. Since we replaced it, our bill has decreased. Much more comfy.

Guess I won't be going anywhere today. I think Cinda said it gets really hot where she's at. I would not be able to stand myself if it go that hot here. Crazy weather we are having for sure.

I live in the Sonoran Desert in Arizona so it's usually hot here, especially during th summer. It's 104 degrees now and the high predicted is 106 degrees. The low last night was 75 degrees. If you are in a desert in California, I understand the heat, if not them it must be very uncomfortable for you.

I usually don't mind the heat (there is very little humidity now) until it gets to the point where I can see the heat waves coming back up off the pavement (and yes, people have fried eggs on the sidewalk and cars, etc). It's hard to believe that people lived here before the advent of A/C. Of course, they had swamp coolers (which work very well as long as the humidity is low but not well during the Monsoon, or as some say the "summers rains", when the humidity is higher). As long as it's low humidity I do well with the heat. I imagine this type of weather before A/C is why the "afternoon siesta" was created.

This is the type of weather when being inside with the A/C is a nice place to be. I hope you've been inside and enjoying your TS2 game.

Hey could you send some heat this way?? The last few days its been the highs of mid 60's and has gone down in the 40's at night.

I wish there was a pipeline that would send heat your way and cool this way. I think BBdoll might like that, too.

Lilly! No, we live in the Valley. Not much air flow, but when we finally get it, like today I'm jumping up and down thanking the good Lord!

Ohio had a lot of humity, and every time I go into Home Depot I think of back home. I go in all dry and come out wet and stinky.

Awwww,,, I tried Flutterby but don't think it made it there. We are nice a cool now. Evenings and nites are breezy and just right for me. Hubby talking bout he's freezing. I told him to wrap up in the heating blanket. We had those few days of extreme heat , and now it's very cool in the evenings and mild during the day. Supposed to be in mid 80's.. I it! Think on Fri it says 90, but that's not tooooo bad. If it remained in the 80's all summer I'd be a happy camper.

Thanks for trying. Glad the weather has cooled down for you. Your husband would really freeze here where its been going into the 40s at night
