| I only started downloading Clothes, hair, and sims about a month ago. Ever since last week, every other time I try loading one of my Sim families it never moves. I always have to CTRL+Alt+DEL my way out of the Sims. It has proven very nerve-raking and I was wondering if anyone here had any thoughts that could help me solve the issue? |

| Is it just the one family or any family you try to load? |

| It sounds like it's probably some bad cc you picked up somewhere. First, it's a pain, but you''ll have to sort through your cc to find the culprit, unless you know what cc you may have added lately right before you started having problems. Also, another thing you can do is delete the cache files from Documents>EA Games>The Sims 2. they look like pieces of paper and they can be as follows: Accessory Cache, Groups Cache, Cigen Package, and Content Registry. Note that you may not have all the above files, so just delete the ones you have. Next click on the Neighborhoods folder and then delete the Neighborhood Manager file.(It looks like a piece of paper also.) Deleting the Neighborhood Manager resets the game tips in the game, so expect that. So try these things and let us know how it goes.

| The files that CindaLOve has mentioned to delete is always a good idea to delete those before you load your game to make sure it is running ok another thing that helps before game play is a disc clean. | |

| If you still have problems, download Moontilda's Hood Checker and see if you can find the problem with it. But before doing anything back up your game by copying the neighborhood folder on your desktop. | |

| Don't know exactly, but you might have deleted more than you were supposed to. Check and see if you deleted any folders, if you did restore them back to the Sims 2 folder. | |
