[solved]TS2 Laucher won't start!

Help my TS2 launcher will not start. It keeps saying the program has to close!

Hello Sun!   Sorry to hear you are having issues. Think there is something that Cinda sent awhile back, when we were having issues a few months ago. I'll check to see if I can find it. You may be able to follow those instructions to get it started again - I'm thinking.

It looks like EA is messing with the online part again. I am playing off a CD in my PC and this is working for me.

Here's a quick solution that works for me.  The Launcher is in two parts.  The top (1/3 to 1/4) is the TS2 part and and the bottom (2/3 to 3/4) is the online part.  When the top part comes up, I quickly double click it (I'm not sure if one click would work) before the bottom part comes up and it takes me directly to my game.

Also, it just pulls up the top part if I am playing with the online connection off or if for some reason I'm unable to get an internet connection.  So, this may also be something you can try if your internet connection is easy to break.  I have a switch or button that I can click off to disconnect the online connection.

Both of these are fairly simple solutions.  Hope they work for you if you try them or haven't already come up with another solution.  Just got home from work a little bit ago so couldn't reply sooner.

actually I have already solved it. I either can press the button to disconnect the internet and then turn it back on or bypass the launcher. I am successful in doing that.i actually found online instructions on youtube and used that. did I do it right, yes because I was able to lauch my game without a launcher. funny how all of the sudden it was happening but, it's an easy fix. maybe we should tell EA about this issue because maybe they can fix it? Thank you guys!
