| The official system requirements of The Sims 4 are finally here!
REQUIRED: Internet connection required for product activation.
OS: Windows XP (SP3), Windows Vista (SP2), Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8, or Windows 8.1
PROCESSOR: 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, AMD Athlon 64 Dual-Core 4000+ or equivalent (For computers using built-in graphics chipsets, the game requires 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.0 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-62 or equivalent) MEMORY: At least 2 GB RAM
HARD DRIVE: At least 9 GB of free space with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content and saved games
DVD-ROM: DVD ROM drive required for installation only
VIDEO CARD: 128 MB of Video RAM and support for Pixel Shader 3.0. Supported Video Cards: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 or better, ATI Radeon X1300 or better, Intel GMA X4500 or better SOUND CARD: DirectX 9.0c Compatible

| As I expected, The Sims 4 has some pretty demanding requirements, which is not surprising when it comes to a graphics-intensive game such as The Sims 2 or The Sims 3, and now The Sims 4. I may buy The Sims 4 five years from now, when the price has cheapened, and add-ons are available. I consider myself quite fortunate for buying The Sims 3 in 2013, which is four years after the software game came out (2009). Buying so late means the game is usually all patched up by the latest edition of The Sims 3 Launcher, and has really cool functions that were otherwise not available in the initial release. |

| You are correct about that Anonymity. That was my plan also, buttt, Cinda/Pierre1 and Nef keeps posting all of these beautiful pics and videos, soooo I had to pre-order. Just pulled me into it.  I could not resist the temptation.  I'm just praying it's not like the Sims 3. I still have my CD in the box. only used once. Plus, I had bought a Game Guide. Still New!  I guess I can post on Ebay and someone will buy them. | |
