| Wouldn't you know it, I had to call 911 yesterday. They had me hooked up to monitors and everything. My BP was well over 220 and heart was pumping fast. Don't know why. It just came on me all of a sudden. I had a couple bouts with the nose bleeds two days before, but felt okay. This is the first time I felt my heart hurting and racing like it was.
Sat in ER - Hallway, for over 4 hours, and never seen a doctor. Heck, I could've died. On the way to the hospital, the guy gave me 3 or 4 aspirins and a nitro pill (under the tongue). Had me on oxygen cause I was having breathing issues also. Gave me something in I-V. Pain stopped and was able to breathe, then just before we arrived to ER, pain came back a little, so he gave me another nitro pill, and it stopped.
After sitting on the hospital slab for over 4 hours, only thing hurting was my rear and back. LoL I finally told them I was feeling better, but they didn't want me to leave. I asked him how much longer before I saw a doc he said 'Hours' and I told him, "Well, I'm not sitting out here for hours to see a doctor. I'm going home." He told me to call and make appointment to see my primary doctor. That's crazy, go to ER and have to sit all day and all nite before you can see a doc.
Anyway, that's how my Tuesday went. I called this morning to sched an appointment with my doc, but she won't be in until tomorrow. So I'll see what happens then. | |

| BBdoll, I'm glad you're feeling better. Let us know what your doctor says when you go for your appointment. I've done the same thing several times over the past few years.

| Hello Cinda! Yeah, I'm feeling better. Saw my primary doctor today and she did an EKG. Said it looked okay, but she's signing me up to take the Treadmill Stress Test next week. | |

| TY Cinda! I'm feeling okay. Have been getting a little light headed lately. Not sure what that's from though. I'll check with my doctor again next week. | |
