Not sure if this is meant to be here, but how do I make the pictures smaller for when I upload them on to here? They're too big. On LJ I just change the sizes. Do I resize in paint or another program?

i usually use photoscape to resize my images. and i usually make them no bigger than 600 pixels for the forum you can download the programme HERE it is free and very easy to use Smile

it allows you to also crop images and put them together Smile

You can resize them if you use this site's photohosting service, Serving. Com. If you use Photobucket or another however, you will have to resize them like Neff explained.

To upload pictures into your post, select the 'host an image' tab.
[solved]Stories? Ll10

Select your picture, then select the 'open' tab.
[solved]Stories? 1711

Select the size you want in the 'resize image' dropbox; I'm choosing the default 8oo px for forums, but you can choose which size you want.
[solved]Stories? Mm10

Next select the 'host it' tab.
[solved]Stories? 1810

Highlight the 'Image' link and right-click to paste into your post. (The 'copy' tab doesn't seem to work here, for some reason.)
[solved]Stories? 1910

After pasting the link into your post, select the 'upload' button to complete the process.
[solved]Stories? 2110

Click on the preview tab to view and check for mistakes.
Now you have pictures!

there is also a free program called paint.net that resize pictures as well that is free thats what i use sometime or i use tiny pic where i can upload pic to the correct forum format

Ex: [solved]Stories? 21owlyo

the pic is a random pic from my game but using tinypic i was able to resize it to messageboard format
