| My game keeps sticking for a few seconds and freezing occasionally. I never noticed before because I am often on pause while takeing pictures or shooting a movie. . It is a fresh install to with almost no CC. I need a new motherboard, is it the game or my computer? Thanks for your answers. Simcerely, Tasia |

| I'm sorry if this is incorrect (I'm no computer expert), but it sounds sort of like how my game was on an older computer with cc installed. It was very choppy and slow, and often froze. You may want to try going as far as uninstalling/reinstalling if you're desperate, but you could also fiddle with the graphics settings of the game for better performance or maybe play in a smaller window (I've noticed a bit of improved performance when doing so). First and foremost, however, I would test the game with and without cc to see if that may be your problem. Oh, and the problem may also be your graphics card(?), in which case getting a new one installed would probably cost much less than the new computer.
I wouldn't go as far as to buy a whole new computer unless the computer you currently have is giving you problems outside the sims, but best of luck in either case! |

| Tasia. From the topic title, I thought this would be about bald Sims being beautiful. So, I was going to write about how cute Conner Broke (the youngest of the three Broke boys) is even though he age transitioned to toddler with a bald head! He's so cute that I've left him that way and so he won't have hair until he age transitions to child. As to the reason for your post, I'm unable to add anything to what the above Simmers have stated. They've given you some great advice. I hope you got the problem worked out. I've had my driver's updated and have added memory which doubled what I had. My processor is still limited so that can cause some slow running in my game and won't allow me to add another game, like TS3, but my game is working beautifully (after I cleaned out CC, cleaned my Sims Mansion & Garden disc--the one I play with in Drive D, defragged my computer and deleted the cache files that regenerate in the game).
