[solved]Where To Put Mods Folder?

Subject: Where To Put Mods Folder? Fri Oct 26, 2012 5:13 pm

I recently installed the Sims 3 on my new laptop to see how it would run and to try my hand at making a few sims. It's been so long since I've played it, I can't remember where the mods folder goes. Seems like it's in C>Electronic Arts>Sims 3, but I'm sure I must be missing something. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

hun you need to download this from mod the sims this will set it all up for you so download the file here. once you do that you are good to go. let me give you some advice to hunni if you are going on a downloading spree make sub folders in your packages folder which can be found in the mods folder that way if you have any bad cc it is easy to find it it would be easy to find anyway but at least this way you would remember what you downloaded last so then you know where to look Smile

Well, the weird thing is I did try that framework thing from MTS, but it didn't work, even after deleting the caches. I'll try it again, maybe there's something I missed. And thanks hunni, I do keep everything in separate folders; hair, clothing, etc., and from which sites I got them from. It does save a lot of headaches! LOL
