| 1. In SimPE, open the Neighborhood your sim is in and select the sim in the Sim Browser. Under your sims picture, there is a bullet box that says Treat as male or female. Select the one you want to change it to. (If you want to change the name too, highlight the name and type in the name you want.) Press the Commit button and then the Save button.
2.Open the Character File under the More tab.
3. Click on the Age Data file. In the Plugin View, locate and select Gender.(dtUInteger) You will see '0x0000000' followed by a '1' or '2'
0x00000001 is female (Ladies first!) and 0x00000002 is male.
4. In the Value box located at the bottom left, highlight the last number ( 1 or 2) and type the gender you want as described above. All you need to change is that last number. Select the Commit button below and the the Save button to save your work.
5. Start your game and enter your sim's household. Note that their screen picture will still be the same, but when you enter the household, your sim will be the gender you changed it to, complete with the gender correct clothes and hairstyles!
