| everyone! I had great intentions of loading my new and First Duplex for you all, but Nice as it may be, the weekly rent is Off The Hook! Your sims is not gonna want to pay $11,975 or $12,948, a week for rent. They'll have to be super rich for this duplex. So I am making a Mini - Duplex. 1/2 the size of my first @ (140 Bass Strip). [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]The smaller duplex has less room, therefore, I gotta work with less space. Bummer... I will let you know when it arrives Happy Simming! | |

| Hi BBdoll, Good luck! I started building with big houses, apartments, etc and than found out it was easier to play with smaller houses (but not too small--I didn't care for my Sims getting stuck trying to get up from the table ). I've learned over time what works and what doesn't. I know that you can put a toilet at the foot of the bathtub (not at the head where the water come out) and the Sims can still use the tub/shower. And, an end table works at head of the bed but not a dresser and the toilet. I'm sure as you play more you'll learn those things. You might want to start rather small and then add as you see the need for it while you are playing. When I played my bigger houses (and they were big) it just took them way toooooooooo long to get anywhere. I recently played Jessica Peterson (BDC) who married the trailer court landlord, Gerard and they now live in the largest trailer on the lot with a set of Cheesecake twins: Paige and Pierce. I've gotten very creative to get in everything that I want but it is easy to get stuff done since they don't have to go far to do things. And, the kiddie or toddler potty chair, i put at the foot end of the tub/shower and it works very well--as long as neither Jessica nor Gerard try to take a bath/shower while one of the twins is use the potty chair. Have fun building! Lilly | |
