Can we please ask you all to have a read of the rules. we have changed some things so we need you all to read them please Smile

we don't mean to be a pain but it will save any hassle and misunderstandings later on Smile

seen the new rules. sucks that i can't use the picture of nick jonas but it doesn't matter, bescides, if i really wanted to, could i use a picture of my nick jonas wallpaper from ts2 as my avatar? just wondering :face:

Hello, I read the rules. Is my avatar OK? I got it off of the selection thingy. I really like it. scaredy

It sounds like some of our new members are possible weirdos. Should I add to my advertisements that Weirdo's and Trolls need not apply? Sometimes that just attracts them, but I would certainly be willing to include something like that in my next advertisement. I am glad that you administrators have made this rule about the avatars, I was concerned about that when I noticed one of our young writers posted her real picture for a avatar, as a mom it made me scared for her. Thank you for making such great efforts to make this a SAFE environment for our young members.
Please let me know what I should or should not say in a advertisement pertaining to this subject. I would like to mention it. Maybe I should say Please read the Rules when you visit? rulez

That's great so happy you are all happy with the new rules that have been added. yes, at first it didn't really bother me about the avatars but when we found more and more real pictures up as avatars it became a concern for safety so we stopped it :)Tasia your ad's are amazing so you may advertise in any way you wish to do so, they always make me laugh Smile

I have no problems with the rules, but do have (1) ? What is a "Siggy"? I was looking @ it and thought that maybe it's a typo, but must not be as it's a repeated word, so must mean something. Very Happy

see how i have the image below all my post's of the plumbob? well that is a siggy. member's have different things in them Smile

you can add your own by going to profile at the top once in there you will see siggy there you can edit it Smile

Yes - you can use the avatars from the avatar gallery; we have made those avatars available for members if they like them. You can use any avatar that is Sims related or anything else, except personal photos of people or anything that is violent or pornographic in nature.

When I first read this it said how they just couldn't be of people.

I think it would be fine, as long as it isn't photos of you, your family or friends. This rule is for your protection. Who is that guy anyway? Sorry I don't keep up with the latest heartthrobs.
